The concept for the “Willow Playhouse” starts with a simple idea: adventure is about imagination. Therefore, its design is very simple, so it can adapt to each child’s own imagination. With its 96 hanging “branches” (tubes made of organic foam from Ecovative), it will enable the children to imagine that they are interacting either with a compact jungle in which they can play hide & seek, ropes they can climb on like sailors and pirates, some sort of tentacular monster they can fight, etc… In addition to that, the Willow Playhouse is both compact (8’x8’x7’6”),safe (it is completely edgeless), easy to build, and it can adapt to any environment
