lagos residential tower 2
Nigeria, with Mappamundi Architects

NEA studio collaborated to design the sustainable facade, based on root patterns of local mangrove tree roots. The facade openings filter sunlight, views, breeze and need for privacy. The tower aims to be a beacon of light and a landmark on the waterfront in Lagos, to be seen from afar from the main city axis. The investors and developers want the structure, in phase two of development, to make a statement about Lagos as an international cultural center.
