latitude bench

This minimalist design, based on modern solar and light technologies, enriches the experience of pedestrians and micro-mobility transit in the city.  The interactive light experience of the design offers two services in one piece, landscape/safety lighting and seating, while solar technology promotes a sustainable, and off-the-grid solution to enrich the public space.

The bench illuminates at dusk (solar radiation sensors) and adjusts color and intensity to the weather conditions; warm tones during winter, cold tones during summer, and the intensity/brightness of the lights adjusted to the intensity/speed of the wind. This approach intends to show another face of modern technologies, one that is focused on how the city is felt by people, creating a more friendly and human approach.
